Continued Conversation on Access to WHOIS and Compliance with EU’s GDPR and ICANN Contracts

ICANN’s impending selection of a model for compliance with the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ICANN’s contracts, and the impact of this selection on WHOIS, continues to be a key topic for a broad spectrum of ICANN stakeholders. While the proposed models remain under consideration, please join us for a continued discussion on this topic. ICANN’s Intellectual Property and Business Constituencies are hosting the event, and members of the Contracted Party House will be participating as well. We also have confirmed that members of ICANN senior staff will join us for the discussion. The session will be hosted concurrently in Washington, D.C. and Brussels to support in-person participation. Remote participation will also be available via Adobe Connect (link to be provided). We encourage all stakeholders to attend, so please feel free to forward the invitation to any interested parties. Kindly RSVP as soon as possible to reserve your place, noting your method of participation. We look forward to your attendance and contributions to this important conversation. Please email denise@winterfeldt.law to RSVP or with any questions.
